Reproduction PCB for Thunderware’s ThunderClock Plus
I purchased a sad example off eBay which I saw had bad corrosion on it, and when it arrived it needed help. I got it working but hit on the idea of drafting up a copy, so I did.
As luck would have it, the clock chip is still available from Jameco so I built it up and now I have TWO THUNDERCLOCK PLUSes!
I also have a few unbuilt boards, although in the interest of transparency, I have to say that mine takes a bit of fiddling in the slot to be stable. Once stable, it stays stable, and I honestly think it’s the slots on this manky old logic board (they were GREEN when I got it) but ethically I felt I should disclose that.
